Cherry and chocolate Meringue baskets

    ml
    thick cream
  • 125
    ml
    chocolate spread
  • 420
    g
    tinned black cherries, drained
  • 4
    ready-made meringue baskets
  • 4
    leaves
    to garnish: fresh mint
  • 20
    ml
    icing sugar
 

Method

1. Mix the cream and the chocolate spread in a bowl.

2. Put a few cherries into the base of each meringue basket. Spoon the cream mixture on top. Top with the remaining cherries. Dust with sifted icing sugar just before serving and garnish with fresh mint.
