Cheese and apple puffs

    eggs
  • 250
    ml
    milk
  • 500
    ml
    cake flour
  • 10
    ml
    baking powder
  • 2
    ml
    salt
  • 250
    ml
    grated Cheddar cheese
  • 250
    ml
    grated apple
  • oil for frying
  • cinnamon sugar
 

Method

 
Whisk the eggs and milk together. Sift together the dry ingredients and mix with the egg mixture. Add the Cheddar cheese and the apple and mix well. Fry spoonfuls of the mixture in deep oil, drain on paper towelling and roll in cinnamon sugar while still hot. Makes about 20 puffs.
