Casserole of beef in beer

    stewing beef, cubed

    beer
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • beef stock (if needed)
 

Method

 
1. Put oil in a suitable microwave dish, add onions, garlic and ginger. Cook on HIGH for 3 minutes, stir after 2 minutes. 2. Add remaining ingredients, stir to mix, cover and microwave on HIGH for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally and topping up with beef stock if necessary. CONVECTION METHOD: First microwave on 50 % power for 45 minutes. Then on convection at 160 ºC for 30 minutes.
