Carrot and cheese bake

    ml
    cooked and mashed carrots
  • 250
    ml
    cooked and mashes potatoes
  • 100
    g
    grated Cheddar cheese
  • 10
    ml
    cornflour
  • 500
    ml
    milk
  • 2
    eggs
  • 25
    ml
    butter
  • 2
    ml
    nutmeg
  • 5
    ml
    salt
 

Method

 
Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (375 ºF). Mix the carrots, potatoes and cheese. Mix the cornflour with a little of the milk. Beat the remaining milk and eggs and add the cornflour mixture. Add the butter and seasonings and add to the carrot mixture. Stir until well mixed. Pour into an ovenproof dish for about 30 minutes or until the dish is golden brown on top and done.
