Brown bread vetkoek

    quantity dough (see bread recipe)


Use the same dough as for the bread (but use brown bread flour) and shape into small balls. Leave to rise in a warm place until doubled in bulk and fry in hot oil in a pan until golden brown on the outside and cooked inside. (Make fairly small vetkoek, or they will not cook properly).
