Broccoli quiche

    g
    broccoli, rinsed and broken into florets
  • 2
    onions, finely chopped
  • 1
    large clove garlic, crushed
  • 250
    g
    Russian sausages, finely sliced
  • 3
    extra-large eggs
  • 410
    g
    Nestlé Ideal Evaporated Milk
  • 25
    ml
    fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 5
    ml
    white pepper
  • 2
    ml
    nutmeg
  • 2
    ml
    paprika
  • 250
    ml
    Cheddar cheese, grated
 

Method

 
Preheat the oven to 180 ºC. Butter a 22 cm pie dish or spray with non-stick spray. Boil the broccoli in a little salted water until just tender. Drain well and set aside. Stir-fry the onions, garlic and Russian sausages until flavoursome. Beat the eggs and evaporated milk together. Mix all the ingredients together, except half the Cheddar cheese, and spoon into the pie dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and bake for about 30 minutes until set and golden brown on top. Leave to stand for a few minutes before serving. Serves 6.
