    large ripe tomatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 500
    ml
    tomato juice
  • 15
    ml
    Worcestershire sauce
  • 15
    ml
    balsamic vinegar
  • 1
    lemon (juice)
  • 4
    drops Tabasco sauce
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • TO SERVE
  • 2
    celery stalks (leaves only)
  • 45
    ml
    sour cream
  • few sprigs fresh parsley
 

Method

 
Heat the tomatoes in a medium saucepan and bring to the boil. Simmer for about 3 minutes. Add the tomato juice and seasonings. Bring to the boil once more and serve. Garnish with celery leaves and a spoon of sour cream. Serve with goat's milk cheese and fresh bread. Serves 2-3.
