Ingredients (6)

120.00 g flour — cake
5.00 ml Baking powder
5.00 ml salt
1.00 eggs
125.00 ml beer
cooking oil — for frying

Method:

Sift together the dry ingredients. Beat together egg and beer, add flour and mix to a batter.
Heat cooking oil in a frying pan. Fry spoonfuls of batter in oil until brown on both sides. Drain on kitchen paper.
Alternatively, make a stiffer dough (use less liquid), leave to prove and divide into small balls.
Deep-fry in a pan of hot cooking oil until golden.
Scoop out the centre and fill with desired fillings.
