    vegetable stock cube
  • 40
    ml
    cornflour
  • 400

    beef fillet, cubed
  • 45
    ml
    oil
  • 1
    clove garlic, crushed
  • 1
    medium carrot, cut into julienne strips
  • 1
    each red and yellow pepper, cubed
  • 100
    g
    green beans, sliced into quarters
  • 6
    spring onions, cut into chunks
  • 400
    ml
    vegetable stock
  • cooked noodles, to serve
 

Method

 
Crumble the stock cube and mix into the cornflour. Coat the beef cubes in the mixture. Heat the oil in a large saucepan until very hot. Add the meat and stir-fry to brown. Add the garlic and vegetables and stir-fry for a further minute. Add the vegetable stock gradually, stirring constantly until mixture has thickened. Serve immediately with prepared noodles.
