Bean and garlic dip

    butter beans
  • 410
    g
    chickpeas
  • 3
    cloves garlic
  • 65
    ml
    chopped fresh parsley
  • 65
    ml
    olive oil
  • 30
    ml
    natural yoghurt
  • 1
    lemon, juice
  • salt and milled pepper to taste
 

Method

 
Place beans, chickpeas, garlic, parsley and half the oil in a food processor and purée until smooth.
If mixture gets too thick to purée, add more oil, a little at a time, to thin it slightly.
Add remaining ingredients and purée until smooth.
Adjust seasoning if necessary and serve accompanied by pita bread wedges, as a snack with drinks.
