  • 250
    ml
    full cream milk
  • 125
    ml
    cream
  • 3
    extra-large eggs
  • pinch dry mustard powder
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
 

Method

 
Beat the milk, cream and eggs together until just blended. Season to taste with dry mustard powder, salt and freshly ground black pepper, and carefully pour over the filling in the pie crust. Makes enough filling for a 30 cm pie dish.
