Bacon and sage roasties

Ingredients

  • 12
    rashers rindless streaky bacon
  • 700
    g
    baby potatoes, washed
  • fresh sage leaves
  • 30
    ml
    olive oil
 

Method

40 minutes
 
1. Cut bacon rashers in half lengthways and wrap around potatoes with a sage leaf under each strip of bacon. Secure with a toothpick. 2. Heat olive oil in a roasting tin in a preheated oven at 200 ºC for 2 minutes. Place the potatoes in the tin, turning them to coat with oil. Roast for 40 minutes and serve hot.
