Apple and beef filling

    cooked minced beef (leftover meat can also be minced and used

    ml
    lemon juice
  • 1
    green-skinned apple, peeled, cored, coarsely grated and drained
  • 1
    small onion, chopped
  • 1
    ml
    dried chopped dill
  • 2
    ml
    French mustard
  • 2
    ml
    salt
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
 

Method

 
Sprinkle lemon juice over apple to prevent discolouring. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well and use as filling for Beer vetkoek (see recipe).
