    butter
  • 125
    g
    castor sugar
  • 2
    eggs, beaten
  • 150
    g
    ground almonds
  • 45
    g
    cake flour
  • 2
    drops almond essence
 

Method

 
Mix 125 g butter and 125 g castor sugar in a food processor or blender until light and fluffy (this is called creaming). Add 2 beaten eggs and mix well. Mix 150 g ground almonds with 45 g cake flour and add to creamed mixture. Process for a few seconds and add 2 drops almond essence.
