How to make your own chakalaka

    cans of Koo baked beans
  • 2
    cans of Koo Chakalaka
  • 3
    kg
    of carrots
  • 1
    kg
    of green pepper
  • 4
    onions
  • 500
    ml
    cooking oil
  • 1
    Tbs
    of ginger
  • 4
    Tbs
    of curry powder
  • 1
    Tbs
    of Aromat
  • 1
    Tbs
    of garlic
 

Method

30 min
 
Cook onions and green pepper in the oil for 10 minutes.

Add ginger, garlic and curry powder. Cook for another 10 minutes.

Add carrots, Aromat, baked beans and chakalaka.

Stir until it firmly combined and all the flavours are mixed together well.

Turn the heat down and leave to cook for a further 10 minutes.
