Lemon chicken drumsticks

Ingredients (6)

2 kg chicken — drumsticks
3 tbsp butter
2 tbsp oil
2 tsp garlic — cloves, crushed
3 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp fresh parsley — chopped

Method:

Preheat oven to 180°C. In a saucepan, melt the butter on medium heat.
Add oil and crushed garlic and stir for 2 minutes so that the garlic does not burn.

Add lemon juice and parsley  before removing the saucepan from the heat.

Place the drumsticks in an oven tray or ovenproof dish.
Gently pour small amounts of the butter and lemon mix over drumsticks.

Bake for 30 minutes or until golden and crispy.

Serve with potatoes wedges and a green salad.
