Fried cheese and ham sandwiches

    butter or margarine
  • 45
    ml
    prepared mustard
  • 20
    slices bread
  • 10
    slices ham
  • 10
    slices cheese
  • 4
    beaten eggs
  • 125
    ml
    milk
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying
 

Method

 
1. Blend butter and mustard together and spread on slices of bread. 2. Place a slice each of ham and cheese between two slices of bread. 3. Blend the beaten eggs, milk and salt, carefully dip each sandwich in this mixture, coating both sides with egg mixture. 4. In a frying pan, heat oil and brown the sandwiches on both sides.
