French loaf pizza with cheese and salami

Ingredients

  • butter
  • 1
    medium French loaf, halved lengthwise and each half cut in half again to make 4 pieces
  • 65
    ml
    tomato purée
  • pinch peri-peri
  • 250
    ml
    cheddar cheese, grated (can use mozzarella)
  • 100
    g
    salami slices, halved
  • 10
    black olives, stoned and halved
 

Method

Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF). Spray a baking sheet with non-stick spray. Lightly butter the bread. Mix the tomato purée and peri peri and spread the bread with the mixture. Sprinkle with half the cheese and arrange the salami slices and olives on top. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted and serve immediately. Serves 4-8.
