Ingredients (7)

15.00 ml sunflower oil
2.00 red onion — large, sliced
100.00 ml stock — beef
50.00 ml Worcestershire sauce
125.00 ml sweet chilli sauce
80.00 ml tomato sauce
500.00 g steak — rump, cubed

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Heat the oil in a saucepan and fry the onions until soft.

Stir in the beef stock, Worcestershire sauce, sweet chilli sauce and tomato sauce. Simmer for five minutes.
Remove from heat, season to taste and set aside to cool.

Thread the steak cubes onto skewers and place them in a greased roasting pan.

Pour the
sauce over the kebabs and bake, uncovered, in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes.

Serve with rice and stir-fried vegetables.
