Frying pan brownies

    sugar
  • 3
    eggs
  • 250
    ml
    cake flour
  • 125
    ml
    cocoa powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 125
    g
    butter
  • 60
    ml
    cream
  • 150
    g
    dark chocolate, broken into pieces
 

Method

Preheat the oven to 180 °C.

1 Beat the sugar and eggs together in a large bowl.

2 Sift the flour, cocoa powder and salt together in a separate bowl.

3 Melt the butter and cream in a cast-iron pan, add the chocolate and stir until melted. Cool for 5 minutes.

4 Add the chocolate to the egg mixture and mix. Fold in the flour mixture.

5 Clean the cast-iron pan, grease with butter and pour in the batter.

6 Bake for 15-20 minute or until set but still slightly runny in the middle. Serve with ice cream.
