This week’s weekend feast screams with bold, warming flavours, chocolate and of cause comfort food for your cold weather blues.

There’s nothing like waking up to the sweet smell of a waffle. These malted buttermilk waffles will make a welcome addition to your breakfast table this weekend.

Making these ‘oumas onder komberse’ will have you filled with both feelings of nostalgia and comfort. In this recipe the traditional stuffed cabbage with meatballs gets a healthy twist with the addition of freekeh.

It’s essential to go all out with snacks over the weekends. We’re in love with this particular healthy snack – cheesy low carb Parmesan chips with bacon guacamole – and we bet you’ll be too once you try it!

This lamb Rogan Josh with homemade naan bread is one of Winter’s most beloved gems. Get out a packet of lamb knuckles and let your stove do all the work!

In the meat-free department we’ve got a show stopping roast butternut, leek and spinach crustless quiche that will make a moreish veggie-based meal.  

This chicken korma naan bread pizza screams weekend food. It’s also the best way to please both pizza and curry lovers.
