Cheesecake trifle

    chocolate swiss roll, sliced

    nuts, roughly chopped
  • 500
    readymade toffee custard
  • 1
    tin (398 g) condensed milk
  • 125
    lemon juice
  • 1
    container (230 g or 250 g) cottage cheese
  • 6
    candied green figs, roughly chopped


Arrange the Swiss roll slices in the bottom of a pie dish and sprinkle half the nuts on top.
Pour the custard over the cake layer, spreading it evenly.
Whisk together the condensed milk, lemon juice and cottage cheese and fold in the figs.
Spoon the mixture on top of the custard and sprinkle the remaining nuts on top.
Leave in the fridge for at least three hours until cold and set.
