Stir-fried Chinese cabbage with bacon and sesame seeds

    cloves garlic, crushed

    onion, sliced and separated into rings

    green beans
  • 500
    Chinese cabbage, chopped

    chicken stock, if needed
  • milled black pepper to taste
  • soy sauce to taste

    sesame seeds


Fry bacon in its own fat in a large frying pan until crisp. Cool slightly and crumble. Set aside. Stir-fry the garlic, onion, green beans and cabbage in the bacon fat, adding a little stock if mixture becomes too dry. Season with pepper and soy sauce, toss in the bacon and sesame seeds and serve immediately as a light meal or vegetable accompaniment.
