Method

Preheat oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF). Grease three tins with margarine: one measuring 21 x 11 x 6 cm and two measuring 23 x 13 x 7 cm. Mix all the ingredients together. Turn the mixture into the prepared tins and bake for one-and-a-half to two hours or until done. Cover the loaves with aluminium foil for the last 20 minutes of the baking time to prevent the crusts becoming too dark. Turn out the loaves and cool. Serve with butter and jam. This bread freezes well. Makes 3 loaves.
