Port phyllo pies

    sheets phyllo pastry
  • 25
    g
    butter, melted
  • 100
    g
    fruit mincemeat
  • 30
    ml
    port
  • icing sugar, for dusting
 

Method

10 minutes
 
Cut 24 x 5 cm squares from the pastry sheets. Brush 12 of them with melted butter and use to line 12 muffin tins. Brush remaining 12 squares with melted butter and use to double line each tin. Mix mincemeat and port and spoon into the centre of the cups. Bake in preheated 200 ºC oven for 10 minutes. Dust with icing sugar and serve.
