1.00 kg flour — self-raising
10.00 ml salt
680.00 ml beer

Method:

Sift the self-raising flour and salt together. Add the beer and mix well with a wooden spoon. Butter 6 empty tins (410 g size) or spray with nonstick spray. Divide the dough into 6 equal parts and turn into the prepared tins. Heat the oven to 190 ºC (375 ºF) and bake the loaves for about 30 minutes until nicely risen and cooked through. Allow to cool slightly, use a knife to loosen the loaves, then turn out on to a wire rack and leave to cool completely. Serve with butter and cheese.
