Chocolate cups

    small cookie cups or ice cream cones
  • 100
    mixed unsalted nuts, chopped
  • 10
    white and pink marshmallows
  • icing sugar for sifting on top
  • 200
    milk chocolate, broken into squares
  • 60
  • chocolate vermicelli for sprinkling


+/- 10 min + cooling
Sprinkle half the nuts into each cookie cup. In a bowl, Cut the marshmallows into smaller pieces and sift icing sugar over them to prevent them sticking together. Add remaining nuts. Place the chocolate squares in a glass bowl and add the milk. Melt over a saucepan of boiling water or in the microwave oven on 70 per cent power. Stir every now and then till the chocolate has melted. Cool slightly and add the marshmallows and nuts. Mix well and spoon a generous amount into each cookie cup. Top with a sprinkling of chocolate vermicelli before the chocolate hardens. Makes 12 small chocolate crunchies.
