    milk

    salt

    ml
    mustard powder
  • 120
    g
    cake flour
  • 100
    g
    Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 7
    ml
    baking powder
 

Method

 
Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF). Grease two 12-hollow muffin pans with margarine. Beat the egg until pale yellow. Add the milk, beating continuously. Sift the dry ingredients together and add to the egg mixture, with the Cheddar cheese and baking powder. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture into the prepared pans and bake for about 15-17 minutes or until done and pale brown. Turn out and serve hot. Makes 24 cheese puffs.
