Polony flavoured cheese is now a thing in South Africa

2020 has given us many things but one we did not see coming is Clover’s latest creation to hit the supermarket shelves: polony-flavoured cheese.

The new dairy product is described by Clover as: “The 2-in-1 slice! It’s the great taste of both cheese and polony in one cheese slice! Pay for one and get the great taste of two. More Nice. Less Price.” This sandwich-bread alternative is designed to be “the perfect polony replacement for your kotas, fat cakes and sandwiches”, and it has South Africans on social media divided.
