Fans of celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain, who officials say committed suicide in France on Friday, visited the New York restaurant where he was an executive chef to pay tribute to him.

The sudden death of Anthony Bourdain in a hotel in France last week, has had a profound effect on those all over the world. Fans and friends of the chef have expressed their deep felt sadness.

Amy Moore, one of Bourdain's fans says, "everything that he did - travelling the world introducing us to new cultures, telling us to get out there and try things and try new foods, be nice to different people... is so needed right now".
