Cures for your November-itis

November-itis. It’s a thing. A condition. You want to celebrate the onset of Summer, while your energy for doing anything vaguely productive just seems to be... absent! The year is almost finished but there’s still so much to do. It’s like running the last 5km of the Comrades. So close, but yet so far.

We love this time of year at Food24 and even though we pride ourselves on being pretty festive all year round, the run-up to December and Christmas is just so toe-numbingly exciting! We are already in the throes of prepping our festive recipe hub with loads of great recipes so that when the time comes, you’ll have no problem whipping up that grand feast you’ve been day-dreaming about.

The weather is also starting to play game and you know what that means… gorgeous chilled wine out in the sunshine, cocktails near the beach and chilled beers while you braai. Of course, we’ve also been getting Summer-ready in the fashion and clothing department! Have a look at these 7 meals to eat before you go bikini shopping.

In the midst of all this planning for the best Summer EVER, we are sure that you also have swamps of work-related or just ‘life’ admin to wade through. We feel you. Which is why we think it’s best to take a break every now and then, gather your mates and head out for a drink. Check out these new Joburg hotspots for cocktails, craft beer, tapas and wine.
