It's no secret that the Duchess of Sussex loves food. Her lifestyle blog, The Tig was a place where she often featured recipes and ingredients with which she liked to cook. The blog had to be closed down because, well... she's a royal now, but that hasn't stopped her from donning an apron and wielding a wooden spoon.

Vanity Fair reports that while on their royal tour to Australia, the Duchess baked a banana bread for a group of local farmers. How sweet! And while it's really the thought that counts, photos of the loaf that have been shared on social media, don't make it look too appetising. Sorry, Meg!

ABC News states that banana bread is one of the most-searched items on Pinterest and we're not a bit surprised. It's possibly the most down-to-earth, humble and homey bake that ever lived. Meghan once again shows that even though she's royalty, she knows how to come across as a normal human sometimes.
