There's nothing like someone telling you what not to eat, to then find yourself wanting it.

Pavlov eh?

So we’ve decided to have a bit of fun here at Food24 and tempt you with a bunch of recipes we really don’t think you should click on.

The long weekend is looming, and here they are: Food24’s top recipes that you probably shouldn’t see. It's for your own good.

Definitely don’t click on this awesome butter chicken that brings comfort at the end of a short week.

You probably also don’t want to hear that it pairs well with thesewine recommendations that you absolutely shouldn’t go near. And, you really ought not to know that drinking wine is supposedly better for you than abstaining.

This Saturday morning breakfast treat of bacon and brie omelette is definitely one to skip. The consequences will be dire.

Don’t touch this death by chocolate cake with a ten foot barge pole. Just don't.

Why would you care about this curried pumpkin carrot and coconut soup? It's like butternut soup, but better. Still don't care.

Interested in any of these magnificent braai recipes, like these creamy potato bakes and this fillet on the braai with mushroom sauce? Nope.

Stop. Don’t click. It’s just a roast chicken lunch. With the best roast potatoes.

It’s going to be awkward, just awkward, if you even look at these Malva pudding cupcakes.

And, here’s the one you really don’t want to see on Monday when you are too full to move. Tons and tons of soup recipes.  

Not into stews or casseroles at all? Then don’t bother.
