Review restaurants and win

Do you often get kakked on for “playing” on your phone when you are supposed to be socialising at the dinner table? I do, all the time, but then again it’s my job to be tweeting at the table.

Well, if you are one of those people who like to fiddle on their phone in restaurants, Food24 has come up with a legit reason for you to do so. And to top it off you can win great prizes.

We’re running a groovy giveaway, so if you have an iPhone then listen up. If you don’t have an iPhone hear me out anyway.

We have a crazy cool app for iPhones called Food24. It’s easy to download, simple to use and is really a total no-brainer. You can look up restaurants, bars, pop-ups, bistros and just about anything foodie near you, with neat maps with pins and everything. You'll also find new “featured” restaurants, and you can read reviews that other diners have posted.

And best of all – you can now review the restaurant from your phone as you are sitting there. Better to do it while the flavours linger and the memory is still fresh in your mind.

Awesome. But, please remember your manners and don’t do it while someone is actually talking to you. If their lips are moving that is usually a sign.

So forget about Facebook for just a sec and join us on the Food24 app – review some restaurants and you could be in line to win one of FOUR fabulous prizes. For more details about the giveaway click here.

If you’re going to be on your phone throughout dinner, you might as well be doing something useful.

Don’t have an iPhone? Then tell your friends who do to enter, or just go to our cool mobi site and review from there - you won't win anything, but you'll be supporting the good restaurants out there.

Take it away phone fiends!
