MasterChef South Africa: Episode 6
Testing the taste buds.
This week's episode saw the contestants showcasing their curry-making skills and who better to be present them with the Rendang curry than SA's own spice queen, Chef Vani Padayachee.
The contestants were given two choices of ingredients and had to guess which one of the two was present in the curry. Some failed horribly and were eliminated early (that ghee vs peanut oil was a real trick!!) but there were a few who made it look easy, leaving Sam the last one standing. This awarded her with the advantage of choosing the main ingredient for the invention test.
