Tapas competition!

Get your bowls together for some fun, tapas-style.

18 Aug 2011

Our newest competition is here!

It’s all about tapas and it’s going to be wonderful. Get your flavours on and invent your own dishes to WIN awesome prizes with kalahari.com.

What are tapas?
A 'tapa' is not a type of food, but a way of eating it. It originated in Spain many years ago at the casual street wine bars when small plates of food were placed over glasses to keep the flies out.

South Africa and many other parts of the world are embracing the tapas style of eating which are basically small bowls or plates of flavoursome food that are eaten many at a time. It’s a great way to enjoy lots of different dishes and a casual and interactive style of dining.

Anything goes as long as it is your own recipe.
We’ll be judging on recipe, originality and presentation.
Once we have chosen the top recipes, we throw the final decision out to you.
