Foodies and good-vibe seekers who have been eagerly waiting to see if their favourite haunts were selected
will be happy to know the judges have made their decisions.
On September 22 the judges gathered
at the Crystal Towers Hotel in Cape Town to deliberate who the top 20 Eat Out restaurants would be.
“We spent the entire day
sharing our different experiences and doing a point by point discussion of all
the restaurants,” said Eat Out’s editor Abigail Donnelly.
“As they were all such fierce
contenders, it was quite a grueling process, but we managed to reach consensus
by the late afternoon. Having a fourth judge on board this year really helped
the process along.”
All those in desperation to know who
the top-dog is will have to hold tight until November 28 when the winner will
be announced at the 2010 Eat Out Awards, held at Cape Town’s Westin Grand
Hotel.

be battling it out for the title, in alphabetical order:
Restaurant Christophe
George Jardine at Jordan Restaurant
Tasting Room at Le Quartier Francais
