Overture is a restaurant by chefs Bertus Basson and Craig Cormack with Adele Grewar as the new Head Chef. They live and die by the saying: "perfection is often strived for but never achieved." They do their best to push the boundaries of their own creativity and knowledge to create experiences for the patrons who visit their restaurant.
The focus of Overture is on local produce presenting a menu of the Season's offerings. And, if you feel like going for the ultimate: the dishes are paired with Hidden Valley's exceptional wines.
The restaurant is set on the Hidden Valley wine farm with views of Table Mountain, the Stellenbosch valley and Robben Island. Hidden Valley is the culmination of years of determined patience. Dave Hidden, winemaker by training, but entrepreneur by nature, has realised his dream. This secluded farm nestled against the Stellenbosch mountains, now boasts a magnificent new cellar amongst its pristine vineyards.
