Restaurants with a fireplace

Everyone’s favourite thing about winter is a fireplace. Don’t even try denying it.

Every time I get asked for a restaurant recommendation May through August, always comes the question…”and the fireplace?”.

Not always so easy off the top of my head – so we asked our faithful Facebook and Twitter followers to name their favourite fireplace restaurants. We got some good recommendations (see below) but WE ARE ASKING YOU our readers to tell us where you like to cosy up to a Sunday roast with a roaring fire.

And with all the fabulous Winter Specials kicking off at the moment… why wait to book a table somewhere cosy?

So there are the suggestions our social networkers have made. We need to seriously beef up certain regions with your suggestions. Gautengers? KZNers? Please email us your favourite fireplace restaurant at editor@food24.com or drop a comment in the box below. We will create separate lists per region for your convenience.

We look forward to your suggestions to fill up our regions so please let us know by email or comments.

We’ll add them to our winter lists!
