I’ve put together this cracking collection of amazing patties and toppings to inspire your next braai.

The flavour puncher – Feta and beef burger with roasted tomatoes and onion marmalade.

The Tessa – Big black mushrooms drenched in garlic butter, topped with goats cheese and pickled beetroot.

The Chick – Chicken burger with bacon, blue cheese and figs.

The Chocky33 – Plain and simple with gherkins, Heinz tomato sauce and a toasted bun. Or if she’s feeling daring, she’ll throw on some pineapple and cheese.
