The event of the year in the SA restaurant industry is happening this weekend. We’re referring to the highly anticipated EatOut Restaurant Awards where the Top 10 restaurants in South Africa are announced from a shortlist of 20 nominees.
It’s a huge honour to make this list of 20 nominees so a big congratulations to all the restaurants who made the prestigious list.
But now we get to the juicy part of the Awards. The Top 10, the Chef of the Year and Restaurant of the Year to be announced at the gala ceremony on Sunday night.

Its a tough call, but based on reviews and quite simply – popularity, we are going to go with The Test Kitchen again this year. And for Chef of the Year, Luke Dale-Roberts.
