The 46 bars presented with this distinction uphold the exacting standards of WORLD CLASS™, and embody the values of this prestigious mixology program. “Last year, we had 26 bars from South Africa on the WORLD CLASS Establishments list, and this year that number has nearly doubled to 46. This speaks to the overall elevation of the standard of bar-tending and luxury drinking experiences in South Africa,” says Alexander Farnell, National Reserve Brand Ambassador Manager.

The talents from behind the bars of these venues will be contending for a spot in the National Finals through a rigorous series of Regional Workshops, kicking off in Johannesburg on March 23rd, Durban on March 24th, and Cape Town on March 25th.

“We are excited to see the phenomenal talent on display at 2015’s Regional Workshops. We have no doubt that the global mixology fraternity is going to be amazed at the standard of South Africa’s luxury cocktail landscape when they journey to Cape Town for the Global Final,” adds Farnell.
