If you’re like us, by this point you’ve baked bread, cookies and banana loaf. You’ve made muffins and even tried a batch of cheese scones. You’re looking for something new, something fresh to inspire you in the kitchen and to push you through these long lockdown days.

4. Clara Jane – Baking Ginger

This local Instagrammer shares daily baking recipes, including great options for breakfast like granola, cinnamon buns and doughnuts.

5. Manuela Kjeilen – Passion for baking

If you’re looking for Insta-perfect recipes, Manuela’s account is for you. Get lost in the folds and clouds of icing in her pictures – you’ll soon be reaching for the piping bag!

6. Astrid Field – The Sweet Rebellion

Astrid, an SA-based cookbook writer and food scientist, has a knack for coming up with uniquely South African sweet treats. Her Milo cake with condensed milk icing is a top recipe on Food24 year after year.
