It’s World Egg Day

Friday 12 October is World Egg Day and in celebration we are going to come out of
our shells and pay homage to the humble egg and throw some ridiculously
cool breakfast ideas your way.

Be warned, it’s gonna get eggly.

restaurants a hard time, and sometimes they do deserve it.

Our Top 10 breakfast recommendations should already be in your recipe book, but as a special treat we’re going to poach some recipes from our lovely bloggers.

Give the kids a big surprise with this weekend French toast recipe from Milk and Cookies.

(And if you fancy something more savoury then indulge in these ham and cheese French toast wonders).

One of our favourite posts of this month was Styling with Eggs from Food-monger.

Janice Tripepi makes Green Eggs look absolutely delicious!

What would a breakfast menu be without Eggs Benedict – and these ones with a minty twist from Simply Delicious will rock your world.

Drizzle and Dip has also shared her Top 10 egg recipes in celebration.

And last but not least what could be better than watching a gorgeous chef separate an egg?

And if you are over breakfast, well then here are some other eggcellent recipes from all over the globe. Ok. I’ll stop now.

Asparagus with egg mimosa butter

Custard and caramel pavlova

Leche frita fried custard slices

Choux pasty

Double baked mushroom soufflé

And who has ever heard of Floating Islands?

Bon app!
