10 new products we just can’t get enough of

rusks

Few things excite us more than finding a new product in-store, whether it’s a ready-to-eat treat or a product set to make baking easier than ever. Lately, we’ve spotted so many new goodies, we decided to round them all up for you to try too.

1. Cadbury Dairy Milk’s fudge range

We live for chocolate and you can never go wrong with Cadbury! But we especially love it when they come out with a new flavour just to keep us coming back for more. Their new fudge range includes two slabs: Fudge Cookie Crumble and Fudge Mint Crisp. Whether you prefer cookies or mint in your choccy, you won’t be disappointed. The texture of both delivers a lovely bite and fun element of surprise.

2. Bakers Tennis rusks

You know how sometimes you can’t decide if you want a rusk to dunk or a biscuit to munch on? (We usually opt for one in each hand, in this case!) Now, Bakers is making life easier. Their new rusks bring the best of both worlds together: it’s all the flavour of a Tennis Biscuit, but in a delightfully dunkable format.

3. NOMU minimakes

NOMU’s new range offers seven different types of baking mixes that are super versatile. One box is perfect for a family of four or six, or you can easily double up if you need to feed a crowd. Plus you can make a multitude of different treats from just one mix. The Spiced Cake Mix, for example, makes a deliciously moist round cake, but can just as easily be transformed into a spiced pear cake or carrot cake cupcakes with the addition of a few extra ingredients. We also love the Vanilla Cake Mix, Vanilla Blondie Batter Mix and Chocolate Brownie Batter Mix.

4. Hug in a Mug Salted Caramel & Honeycomb Cappuccino

“Hug in a Mug” is really the perfect name for this brand because that’s what each flavoured coffee feels like: a giant, comforting hug. And this new flavour just builds on that, with delicious notes of honey and caramel warming you up from the inside. As with most salted caramel products, it could do with a touch more saltiness, but otherwise, this is another hit from the Hug in a Mug fam.

5. Nestlé Aero for baking

If you love the lightness and bubbliness of Aero, you’re going to love this! Nestlé have now launched a new Aero baking chocolate that will not only give all your chocolate goodies that delicious Aero flavour, but also melts easily (so no more hard, burnt chocolate!) and comes in premeasured sizes (so you don’t have to stress if you don’t have a scale).

6. Golden Cloud Carrot Cake & Icing Mix

It’s easy to whip up the classic favourite carrot cake in your own home, thanks to Golden Cloud’s new carrot cake mix, which also comes with an icing mix. The combo makes either a two-layer cake or 18 cupcakes, making it super easy to cater for those school bake sales!

7. Bokomo’s oats range

Bokomo is fully embracing the world of oats and making it convenient and easy for us to do so too, thanks to their new Instant Oats and Oat Flakes ranges. Both ranges come in exciting flavours such as Chocolate, Caramelised Banana, Strawberry and Vanilla (for the Instant Oats), and Coconut, Original and Honey (for the Oat Flakes).

8. Fry’s Plant-based Popcorn

We love crunchy bits to munch on, whether it’s during a family movie night or as a quick snack when we’re on the go. And it’s even better when it’s plant-based and healthy! These coated soy-based popcorn bits can be either deep-fried or air-fried, for just a few minutes, making them so tasty and convenient.

9. Woolworths conchiglioni pasta

These jumbo pasta shells, which are made in Italy, are perfect in a stew or soup as they hold their shape very well and cradle large amounts of sauce. Usually you’d have to venture to a speciality store to find them, so we’re so happy Woolies have made them readily available!

10. Lindt Classic vegan chocolate range

Plant-based lovers everywhere rejoiced when Lindt launched their vegan chocolate range! And with good reason – Lindt is known for exceptional quality and deliciously smooth chocolate, and this range doesn’t disappoint. Currently, you can choose between either Smooth or Hazelnut.
