Your weekend feast: 6 April 2017

Autumn is definitely here – the mornings are already darker and the nights are getting chilly – and while we love Summer we can’t say that we aren’t excited for the comforting, warm food that awaits.

We’re also excited for Easter and the chocolate that comes with it… Let the countdown begin!

In the mean time, dive into our jam-packed weekend feast!

For a devilish dessert-breakfast make these peppermint Crisp waffles.

To celebrate the beginning of Autumn make a nourishing bowl of vegetarian goodness – spiced lentil and vegetable soup.

Perfect your roasting skills, for next week’s Easter lamb, with this roast leg of lamb with sweet onion marmalade.

These pork, apple, mushroom and sage phyllo pastries are a winner every time especially when entertaining! 

Serve this spicy beef and mushroom nachos with a generous dollop of sour cream. It’s the ideal snack for your guests (if you’re hosting) and it could make an awesome light meal too.

What’s not to love about this chocolate Easter egg surprise cake? The baking session also provides a fun holiday activity for you and the kids.
