Your Weekend Feast: 25 August 2017

We’re not only saying goodbye to August soon, but we’re slowly warming up to the new coming season. Winter is moving along swiftly so let’s make the last days count. This weekend, have a warming feast. There’s nothing that says ‘going out with a bang’ like a big last supper. You can do it with family, invite some friends over, anything to make your big feast count.

For a meat-free feast, this fennel and cannellini bean stew is for you. It’s filling and will have you wishing the season lasted forever.

We would never leave out the meat lovers, and a Chinese mandarin chicken tray bake should be first on the list. It has a lovely veggie stew that will definitely leave you on the floor.

Feeling like a laid-back breakfast or brunch? Don’t miss out on some baked eggs with spicy chorizo and the tastiest polenta pieces.

A pork chop carbonara is another favourite, and looks quite delicious! 

For those who aren’t keen on doing too much, this lamb shepherd’s pie is here for you and is extremely filling and delicious. We can’t promise that you are going to want to share this with everyone, though!

Barbecue meatballs with bacon gravy is a mouth-watering meal that is great for family or dinners with friends.

Finally, what is a feast without a ‘lil something sweet to finish it off? Tuck into a droolicious apple and granadilla crumble served with creamy smooth custard.
