Why you should follow the Food24 bloggers on Instagram

Our bloggers write up the most beautiful recipes for us every week. Not only are they carefully thought out, but they are often photographed and styled exceptionally well. Their talent and aesthetic shines through to their Instagram accounts as well, so here is a round-up of our favourite delectable photos from our gifted crew of bloggers.

Dianne Bibby – Bibby’s Kitchen

Dianne has really gotten her food styling and photography totally polished in the last year or so. She contrasts healthy dishes like salads and smoothies with mind blowing sweet treats and also traditional comfort food like pastas and roast chicken. Her cooking is accessible and her Instagram shows wholesome homely cooking with a sophisticated edge.

Hein van Tonder – heinstirred

Hein is a shining star in the food photography game. His latest work involved shooting in the chateau Le Creuzette in France for the book ‘Story of a House’. Hein develops recipes as well and the combination of his talents makes for a magnificently curated Instagram feed. He’s got a knack for capturing a defining food moment, with bold colour and moody shadows.

Teresa Ulyate – Cupcakes and Couscous

Teresa has a strong focus on baking, and all things chocolate. Being a mother, she has a motherly style of cooking, baking things that we wish we were served when we arrived back home from school each day. But it’s not all chocolate cake! She also throws in the odd salad, smoothie and more recently, a sugar-free banana cake.

Carey Erasmus – Bits of Carey

Food stylist, photographer and recipe developer Carey, has had a long history with food and a personal journey that has taken her to a wonderful place in the food world. She loves her job, and it shows through in her photographs. She develops recipes that are simple and accomplish-able, straight from her kitchen to yours. Her food is nostalgic and comforting and so is her Instagram.

Katelyn Williams – The Kate Tin

Kate’s recipes fulfill all your guilty food pleasures. Scrolling down her Instagram might cause you to drool over your phone at the dripping caramel, melted chocolate, swirly creams and all things glorious about sweet treats.

Corlea Fourie – Basil, Couscous and Wasabi

Corlea and her husband are both winemakers so it’s not surprising that her Instagram involves many glasses and bottles of wine. Her Instagram is also family orientated displaying many home cooked lunches and dinners. She also posts envious trips to farms for food and wine pairings and reviews on wines she’s tasted. Basically, if you love wine, this is the account to follow!

Her images display rustic, homely shots of food she has prepared in her kitchen, which include many fuss-free dinner options. Her recipes are perfect for family meals and are guaranteed to please the crowd.
