Top pizza/pasta restaurants in Cape Town

It’s that time of year again. Cape Town is about to explode with lycra. The 2012 Cape Argus Pick ‘n Pay Cycle Tour promises to be a goodie with great weather, no wind, and none other than the Premier of the Western Cape Helen Zille taking part this year.

I’ve ridden it 5 times, going for number 6 this year, and let me tell you it’s not for sissies.

So it’s time to begin preparing in every which way you can in the days leading up to the big race and that means carbo-loading, if you still believe that is the way to go. According to Professor Tim Noakes, it’s not… but that is another story.

Carbs are still King!

So if you’re still a believer in good old-fashioned carbs here are our Top 15 Cape Town carbo-loading restaurants and please let us know in the comments below where you like to go as it is great to have new places to try out.

Bacini’s – Kloof Street

And if you don’t give a toss about cycling why not go and soak up the festive atmosphere anyway.

Ride safe!
