There’s been lots of chatter about rebuilding our government with new president, Cyril Ramaphosa, and our Finance Minister, Malusi Gigaba’s plan for the 2018 budget. Gigaba says our VAT will go up, wealthier citizens will pay more and somehow, someway we will lower South African debt. 

All talk has been on the 2018 budget and after watching for what seems like 24 hours straight, we couldn’t help but think about our food finances, a budget that really hits home. So, naturally, we’ve turned the discussion back to eating and rounded up a few tasty meals to help see you through.
